Project Consultation
After you've spent weeks or even months writing, re-writing and performing a song, a fresh pair of ears can be the difference between a good recording and an inspired one. Take an hour to talk with one of our producers, an unbiased professional, who will ask the right questions, evaluate your music and determine how to get the most out of your performance.
Mastering
After your music has been recorded and mixed, mastering is the final process of sonically optimizing your final mixes for commercial release and preparing a Red Book compatible CD for replication. Depending on the final mixes you provide, the process may include volume adjustments, creating fades, adjusting stereo "width", equalization between tracks, dynamic compression, peak limiting, and track spacing. The results of a mastering session at Community Musician will be immediately apparent. Think of mastering as the final polish on your masterpiece.
